This dance portrays the horse and rider.. Sometimes you are the horse, sometimes the rider, sometimes both! Most versions of Zapateado have a slow part in the middle, this one doesn't.. it is danced on a continuous slow two beat rhythm. (though the steps make it seem like a fast dance.
